'Roslin-Rosewell circular' & the Hop Run :-)

2nd Saturday of June, and our walking-group were over in Midlothian today - we did the 'Roslin-Rosewell circular' route, and luckily the full 7-miles were undertaken in pretty decent weather :-)

Main snap shows a view looking over towards The Pentland Hills; 1st extra is the old Rosslyn Castle rail station were we stopped to eat our packed-lunches; and the 2nd extra is of my running-number & medal (which doubles-up as a handy bottle opener! ) from the subsequent 5K Hop Run which 'R' and I ran straight after the walk ...

... delighted to report that we actually both came second in our relatively, newly acquired age-category :-))
