Fiddly...

...but fitted and painted...

Bought this last week, fitted it and made a hole in it!  I caulked it last night and made a good job of filling the hole - even if I do say so myself!  Then I painted the ceiling today - it was still wet when I took the photo.

I decided to keep going and painted the skirtings and facings and started painting a door that I spent hours scraping the paint off when I moved in 14 years ago...  

I will keep going and paint three of the walls tomorrow - I'm hoping they will only take one coat...  I have one rust coloured wall so I will give that a coat of white before I paint it a yellow ochre.  I have been meaning to do this since I bought my purple chair...  in February 2023!!!
