My mum wanted to throw out the 1100 or so framed slides she still had. That’s pretty much our entire childhood, so my brother and I did not like this idea at all! My mum gave them to me instead, including a slide viewer which I used to display this randomly chosen slide with me and my brother on it. This seems to be taken on “Sinterklaas evening”, but I don’t know yet what year. We are planning on having all the slides digitized, cleaned up and colour corrected. I also saved about two hours of 8mm film which we will have digitized as well.
