Shakespeare and Bricks

The back drop was just bricks, probably photographed.  Curtains were used to cover the stage when scenes were changing.  Furniture and props were brought on at the same time.  It was hard to work out how the props were brought on and set up so quickly

The play lasted 4 hours. Longest play I've ever seen. Sir Ian McKellen was superb as always.  But there were many other excellent performances.  A mix of Shakespeare and new dialogue was interesting.  If you are a Shakespeare fan it's well worth seeing
