Today the youth department of the volunteer fire brigade had their annual exercise. They had to to extinguish an imaginative fire at our local school. They did a great job and the school survived ;-D

Many many years ago our eldest son M. also started at the youth department of the local volunteer fire brigade. His colleagues still recognise us (It's a small village) and greeted us with "Hey Grandma/ Grandpa". Even if he left our village many years ago they still remember him and they knew already the news, that he is a Daddy now :-D
