Lego

Grandson J loves his Lego. When he has taken the time to make the figures, he likes to keep them intact for a while - sometimes years.  When I bought lego for my children, it came in a big box with lots of different pieces and a book of ideas for making things that could be dismantled and made into something else.  Now it's specific characters etc that are kept whole - and they cost much more.
