Busy

It was a busy Saturday in Leith (never mind the Taylor Swift shenanigans up town). The swing (Victoria) bridge was officially re-opened; I heard Louise the piper tuning up as I passed but didn't stay to watch. Went to the market and would normally have gone to the Gala day/parade, but the horrible brisk wind continued and I was fed up with being out in it. Anyway, had plenty of practising to do, re Stirling on Monday.

On my way across the bridge I was trying to make out if these eiders were juveniles - I think they were, but they all upended themselves at the same moment!
