Mosque
'Welcome to the hottest city in Europe', our guide said at the start of the tour of Mostar. Not today it wasn't - it was grey, damp and cool, so I was going to blip Dubrovnik instead as the sun was shining when we got there. Dubrovnik is quite photogenic but there were too many people and we' d gladly have sacrificed a bit of time there for more time in Mostar.
So here's another Mostar blip, the last in Bosnia and Herzegovina (but the Maglic one was in Montenegro).
This is in the beautifully-decorated Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque, built in 1617, which also has a fine view of the bridge.
Whatever else I want to say about Mostar - I said it yesterday.
Main road crossing to Croatia took well over an hour, mostly just queuing - seems they've tightened up on border procedures ready for Croatia joining the EU on 1st July.
Then we had to go back into Bosnia and back into Croatia to get to Dubrovnik, but those crossings were much quicker.
And an afternoon and evening in Dubrovnik.
