James Bond night
Drumming this morning, followed by a sociable coffee. Then home for a quick lunch with MrM, before Anita arrived. She'd brought two guitars for MrM to restring, and we all sat chatting for most of the afternoon!
No time after that to cook, so we took the early bus into Huddersfield and ate at the pub. We thought we'd be there in plenty of time to eat, and then to get a seat for the jazz, but wrong! The bar was absolutely packed, and we ended up being jammed in between several people. No matter though. It was James Bond night. It seems that Rod Mason is something of a James Bond enthusiast, and has arranged most of the film theme tunes for the jazz band. The musicians all dressed the part for the occasion, and it was another evening of fantastic music.
