Silly Saturday ...

As we needed to go pick up our new eyeglasses today we combined a few errands plus a lovely walk into the trip.

After picking up the glasses we stopped at the Waterfowl Observation area that's nearby.  I was happy to see that another woman had arrived shortly before us and she has some cracked corn to throw to the ducks and geese that make their home here.  Most people show up with bread, crackers or some other type of food that's bad for these birds.  

As she was throwing down the cracked corn two little goslings came up to feed ... along with their parents.  This is one of the two goslings.

From the waterfowl observation area we drove to the Palmer Bikeway for our walk.  Surprisingly there weren't that many other walkers/cyclists/joggers, etc.  The weather was simply perfect.

We made a few stops on the way home after our walk and then spent the rest of the day relaxing at home.  I took a quick swim when we returned but that's about it for the day.
