My first new bloom

This is quite exciting for me as I've never had a geranium house plant before. I thought the flowers were just red but I can see violet in them too.
It's been drab day in every way. Wrriting is dragging, and the weather is cold. Only the little birdies are keeping me going with their insatiable appetites.
