Birmingham Canal New Main Line

I'm still in Birmingham with Friend S, resuming our once a year meet up which I find we've not done since 2019.  Covid got in the way but its now 2024 - yes excuses excuses.  Anyway, we agreed meeting for lunch was not long enough. We've stayed the night , gone to a concert and now we are exploring the canals again.   The building work that was everywhere in 2019  is finished because of the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the centre of Birmingham is very much improved.  We're off to do a boat trip because there's a biting north wind despite the sunshine and we need to get inside.
