Bright, sunshiny day

Scorcher of a day spent largely outdoors. Toddler group relocated to one of the village parks this morning. Ophelia, Arwen and I had a trip to the Gift Shop for ice cream afterwards. Then we had lunch al fresco with friends in the garden (and a play date for Ophelia). After picking up Gracie from school we spent 90 minutes in the park with the girls, then went home for a BBQ tea in the garden.
Grace received her school report today and we are thrilled with it. She's tried really hard and apparently is 'a joy to teach', which is a lovely thing to say :)
