Glasgow cycle

There was an event on in town today where they closed off the roads and created a 5 km route that circled Glasgow Green and ended up back at George Square. It was open to the public and anybody with a bike could cycle round the course free of charge. It was fantastic. You don’t realise exactly how scary cycling on the roads is if you do it every day until the cars are taken away. I sincerely hope they do this again. It was wonderful there were kids and families and all sorts just cycling around having fun on a Sunday afternoon. There were also stewards closing off the roads and allowing people to cross. I felt like I was in the Tour de France or something. Anyway I took this photo Just as I was leaving George Square towards Trongate. You can see Laura in this photo pulling a funny face.
