Pots

Went for morning rolls first thing so I could let Z&T have a Scottish breakfast, then we moved their car to have it safely parked away from the permit zone.
Chatted about where they might go to explore today, various jobs and development opportunities, netball, commuting and nightclubs,
Sad news came in about Michael Mosley who’s been found dead on the Greek island he was holidaying on….shocking that an afternoon walk could have such consequences.
Once they were all organised I set off to Scone Palace to have a look at Potfest. Some beautiful ceramics to browse, and after a break for a fruit slice I also explored the gardens. The kitchen garden was lovely where it was planted up but quite a lot of it was empty, but the maze was terrific and I decided to try turning left at every choice point and was surprised that it worked - after a long walk I came out pretty directly in comparison to a few groups who got lost for quite a while! The gardens had lots of peacocks and I’d not seen a white one before but it posed beautifully by the moot hill with its replica of the Stone of Scone set where all the Kings of Scotland had been crowned.
I bought a couple of pots and presents, then home to browse the book festival brochure again and make some chilli for supper. Z&T had already set off for the Taylor Swift gig at Murrayfield…looking forward to hearing about it tomorrow.
Spoke to Mt and couple of times today as it was his viennoiserie making class this morning. He had a great time and brought some dough home to make more ….they looked delicious!
