Re-fuelling

Birthday in the house today!!!  The husband being the one with a special day. He wanted a low-key day, so that's what we did. We went out for a walk this afternoon, the boys took bikes and of course the eldest got a puncture at the half way point. Luck was on our side.... about 10.minutes later we walked past a friends house as she was arriving home amd left the bike there to collect by car later.  Stopped for a coffee / milkshake in town before heading home. Eldest tripped.over near-ish to home and landed on his face and knees - he's pretty tough but there were a lot of tears. He was very tired this evening and wanted a favourite children's book reading to him at bed time.
