A postcard from the Isle of Wight.....

Can't believe how quickly we got here! A bus to East Croydon, a train to Portsmouth Harbour, a 20minute ferry crossing, a short train ride to Shanklin, (the only train on a single line track, at the only station! ), a short bus ride to Ventnor and a short walk to our (beautiful) hotel in Bonchurch. Just like that!!

Since then we have walked a fair few miles and stopped to take many photos and are ready for an early night. We ate lunch in a pub at the far end of the prom at Ventnor and enjoyed watching people enjoying their beach holiday in the sun. (!)
