Remembrance…

The floral tribute at church today. So simple yet saying so much of sacrifice by so many.

Big Sis joined us for dinner which we had this evening. A change from our usual Sunday routine. She went to a Summer Fair this afternoon. We did some big clearing at the bottom of the garden… It was very necessary but took some persuasion.

This evening we’ve watched Wednesday evening’s D-Day commemorations from Bayeux. Beautiful music, poetry and readings.
