Hopeful little things

I put 12 pieces of Christmas cactus into soil about three months ago. They’ve been sitting in a window doing nothing - but suddenly, and all together, they’re all producing these little shoots. I’m delighted.
It’s a wonderful plant - it flowers profusely in November and may - so the babies are worth having. There’s a community garden in a local park - which has a plant stall every week to raise funds. So once they’re bigger and stronger, I think that’s where I’ll take them.
