The Poinsettia is Just Surviving.. Just like Me

 It was a mild night compared to the ones we are used to. Different story tonight. It sure has been a cold gloomy day. 


My day was busy with insurance things. Good everything  is slowly moving ahead. This afternoon I got John to help me sort the out the bedding that was bought back yesterday and put in the garage. My son had bundled each bed all up together. With my frozen shoulder... which kept me awake last night I just couldn't manage lifting the heavy things. Some things were a bit damp. My oldest son is going take the bedding to the Laundromat. Some things will need drycleaning. Other things need to be hand washed only. 


I have a few of the things that were feeling a little damp ..you can see in this photo, in our living room where the heat pump is. We have a tiny house so not much room for storing much. My oldest son is going to store them in his spare room after they have been cleaned. Our garage is too cold to store bedding. 


The Insurance Assessor called and they will be in Akaora at 11am tomorrow. My oldest son and his partner are going to take me over and also will help pack up the things. 


I did have some good news today ... a appointment to see the Neurological Specialist for July 1st. I have been waiting for a number of months and just about gave up ever seeing them. I have a lot of numbness in both legs now and to my waist. Can't lift my right leg without help and my walking is getting worse.
