Marsh Orchid

Still cold and raining, looking out it was not exactly inviting but sometimes when you get out there it's not so bad.
So, I donned winter weight hiking trousers, base layer, fleece and waterproof jacket, woolly hat plus Gortex shoes..  
A 3 mile loop down to the harbour and back. The grasses and flowers are left to themselves along the path and these orchids always catch my attention.
