Dumfries

This is Dumfries High Street showing Mid Steeple which is a theatre I believe although there doesn't appear to be much on at the moment. This is almost a unique picture as the sky is blue, a rarity in this part of Scotland. Dumfries is known as the Queen of the South, the football team is called just that. It is a lovely town, voted one of the most desirable places to live in Britain. They've even just got Starbucks. So maybe they don't qualify anymore. Note the Jocks in shorts, rarer than hens teeth.
