Yet again

A couple of weeks ago the Council re surfaced  a stretch of road near our house.   It was badly pot holed and on the bend , quite dangerous given that any attempt to avoid the  holes meant veering onto the wrong side and into the path of on coming traffic.

But the work isn't yet quite finished as the Council apparently don't have their own white line painting machine, and wait to hire one in until there are lots of bits to be done.

That can take months, as we know from the piece of damaged road on the way down into Strachur.   It was finished a year ago and white lined, but the lines fade away at either end .   They have still not been repainted. 

So this sign is likely to be in place for some considerable time.   

I will keep an eye on it.....and on the road.
