Feathers galore!

After a damp morning the sun came out ..... still clouds about but a more promising outlook!

We had a wander "up the road" ... a rather chilly wind but pleasant in the sunshine.

We saw lots of birds making the most of the dry weather including Linnets (top), a Pied Wagtail (bottom) & also a Great-spotted Woodpecker ... all of which we don't often see ... a rare treat :-)

There was plenty of the "usual suspects" about too :-)
