Not a Partridge in a Pear Tree

A variation on the theme of 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree', a wood pigeon has perched on the very top of my holly tree, despite the strong winds that threaten to unseat him.

There's been plenty of 'weather' today including sudden downpours, gusty blows from all directions, chilly temperatures but also the occasional teasing glimmer of sunlight.
