Blackpool

I was singing in Blackpool last night and with time to kill before my train I booked a ticket for cream tea and a visit to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. I was just expecting to be walking around looking at it but a man came out of the floor playing a Wurlitzer and people are dancing together, it’s so lovely to see. This waltz is called The Katherine, so I decided to film some of it, he started playing ‘Sally pride of our alley’ in the middle, I don’t know of this is part of the waltz that was turned into a song but it’s a song my late Mother used to sing, she did a great impersonation of Gracie Fields singing it. So feeling rather nostalgic and might have something in my eye….
