Free music

Glasgow is a city synonymous with music. And today I heard two very different musicians.
 Daniel de Gruchy-Lambert, busking in Buchanan St tells me it helps to pay the rent.” I love it.  I have an audience; people enjoy it and I earn money.”
He’s a classical trained musician, and a graduate of the Royal Scottish Conservatoire.
Meanwhile a few streets away a keen amateur pianist belts out music to entertain travellers in Queen St station.
( I had to rush to catch my train or I would have stopped to chat to him too).
Both add to the colour of this vibrant city  which I once worked in for over twenty years.
It’s good to go back and see that it has lost none of its joie de vivre.
