‘‘Twas the day of my annual golf freebie and down the coast I tootled because this year it was at Archerfield, a great course but pretty swanky and normally well out of my price range! Unfortunately my game was pretty lousy but it’s all about the taking part isn’t it? Ho, hum. But I came away with a bottle of plonk for winning the Longest Drive comp so that made my day! That and the fabulous meal, - no golfers’ grill at Archerfield!
