Extra - Malham Cove pavement

As I dropped down to the dry valley Watlowes I met a German couple who had just spotted a long-eared owl. We stood watching it for a while and the woman said she didn’t know what it was called in English but said in German it was known as a ‘hoo hoo’ owl which fits perfectly with what this link describes! https://www.barnowltrust.org.uk/barn-owl-facts/uk-owl-species/

I blame Paula for the hole in my purse as I managed to just get to the cheese shop before it closed  ; )  … it was that or the Ebbing and Flowing well which will hopefully be there for a while yet.
A long tailback on the A65 behind a couple of bow tops heading home.
