Sun Spider

It's lovely coming home from work in the sunshine.

First thing I do is get out of my suit and into shorts, t-shirt and flip flops and then have a look and see what's going on in the garden.

This evening I found this little fella (apologies to the arachnophobes among you) hanging out around our burgeoning sunflowers, there was a slight breeze blowing him/her about, but the web held fast.

I snapped a couple of other shots which can be found here, but I think I was most chuffed with the shot I've posted here.

Anyone have any idea with regards to the model of this spider?!
