A fourth consecutive stunning English summer's day. This view is taken from Painswick Beacon, one of the ancient Iron Age fort settlements that were built along the ridgeway that hugs the Cotswold escarpment.

We have enjoyed more quality time with our grandson today and his mother and his paternal Nanna.

We have also enjoyed banter with the locals who remind us that now Andy Murray is Wimbledon Champion he is a brilliant Brit. Had he lost again he would have been only a sad Scot! No comment!
