Time passes to quickly

It has been nearly 2 months since my Gran passed. We called in to see Grampy on our way home yesterday and he's decided all the children and Grandchildren can choose something of Gran's to keep. As much as I love having a momento to cherish, I found the whole process very hard. It felt a bit like grave robbing but it seemed to make Grampy happy. I was allowed some of Gran's jewellery. Grampy thought it right that I have Gran's RAF pathfinders badge with my association to the RAF gliding club. I have a necklace I remember Gran wearing and one of her rings.

Grampy also said we were allowed to put our names against any of the furniture. I couldn't do this as that was a step too far, but we did come away with this clock.
Gran always had wind up clocks around her house, I loved winding them up as a child. She had a Grandmothers clock which stood on the stairs and chimed every hour. I hope we can get this one working again.
