Bullrush (raupo)

First of all let me say a huge thank you to all of you for the stars, hearts and kind comments for my 3,000th blip yesterday.
Yesterday was an awful day, it was so cold, the predicted temperature of 16 was never reached and there were some fairly spectacular rain squalls.  I went out once which was when l found these bullrushes way past their best in a brilliant shaft of sunlight.
Harking back to my roots l have always known them by their Maori name of Raupo, so much prettier than bullrushes.
Still cold - a high of 14 today with a 'feel' factor of 12!  I blame it on the Tories.
