Not for the squeamish!
So, after about four and a half hours sleep I went back to to the cliffs we visited last Friday, to spend a bit more time with my camera ..
I spent all day there and had a fabulous time .. but had no luck getting any peregrine shots. Just as I was about to to leave I decided to have one more go. I went back to the spot I'd seen them before - and had seen them earlier but too distantly to bother photographing.
They were still there, distantly .. then all of a sudden the youngster (who was tucking into a guillemot or razorbill chick its parent had given it) flew over to me and perched about 15 or 20 feet away!!! Absolutely amazing! It stayed for a good minute, before flying off, having satisfied his curiosity!
I came home via Sunk Island and continued having some fab photography moments - hares, deer, kestrel, barn owl and little owl!
