Nice motor

Our music session was in Cabinteely today, so, being close to Carl's place, I called in on him afterwards. The poor lad was still feeling poorly after the lateness of last night's escapade, so we agreed just to go for a quick pint, after which I'd head on home.

We went to what's really Carl's local, the Eagles in Glasthule. The weather was so nice we thought it would be pleasant to sit outside on the rooftop terrace. Unfortunately, the new owners have either given up on the roof terrace or are in the process of doing it up. It was all very tacky, and partly closed off, with badly weathered tables and chairs stacked in a corner as if for removal.

Despite the disappointing surroundings we spent a pleasant while there soaking up the evening sun. During the course of the last half hour or so the clouds came rolling in and it wasn't quite so nice.

I rather fancied this car parked outside the pub when we got down to street level.
