SUNDAY’S TASK

I have done cross stitch before with a pattern but never embroidery without a design. I’m quite chuffed with my sample to make quilt for our verger who at 90. He is leaving the church and moving to Dorset to be with his daughter. He will be so missed but the quilt was a lovely idea that everyone can contribute to in some walk.
Bernard’s Walk as I’ve named it is a churchyard trail that has QR codes. You can hear Bernard discuss many interesting facts about the churchyard from plants to insects to famous families buried there. What a great thing to leave with us.
