One of my longtime hobbies is birdwatching.

This is something that began as a young child watching the birds visiting the garden

I then became a member of the Young Ornithologist's Club & would go for walks or off on my bike armed with Mum's old opera glasses ... there was no money for new binoculars.

I now have a bird 'restaurant' in the garden & spend far too long many happy hours watching them coming to feed. This time of year is especially good as there are lots of fledglings too :-)
