Glorious Peonies
Back to Pilates today after quite a few missed with either us being away or Caron, our teacher, being away.
After friend Liz and I then went for a coffee and some lunch at Bingley garden centre which is actually in Wilsden!
I elected to walk home as she wasn’t coming back for a cuppa today.
I had spotted some lovely Peonies in a neighbourhood garden on our drive there so thought I could get a blip walking past on my way back.
I love the fact that the exuberant pink ones with cream middles are surrounded by the blousy but pale pink ones so you get both in the blip.
I’m sitting here writing this with the glorious scent of pink peonies in a vase on the sideboard. They are a bunch I bought in M & S last week which are now opening. I’ve added one from the garden which was lying on the ground after a recent blast of rain. Remarkable value for £5.
The rest in the garden are still to open, hopefully to some sun!
Just looked back at last years blip on this day and it is a pink peony about to open in the garden!
