Lazy Day Sunday

We have two ponies but one prefers not to be ridden and so dear little Trigger gets most of the girls attention.

Sunday had been Lauren's turn to ride and so she chose to have a gentle 'hack' around the fields and woods that surround the Livery Yard where our ponies live. We had a lovely amble, everything is growing so fast, the grass is so long and there were stands of Foxgloves rising up through the Bracken, like purple spires. It was rather warm and humid, unusual for northern England, but I enjoyed the walk..... it's such a great time to think...and drift....and to just relax.
