This afternoon me, mum and babies went to a local school fate. The sun was shining it was the perfect Saturday afternoon. We hadn't told Erin where we were going just in case I over described it but it was lovely. Lots of little stalls and fair rides Erin's little eyes lite up. She instantly announced which rides she'll be going on, so we headed straight over to the tea cups. They were very small tea cups, small enough that she could go on her own. I did double check with the man running the ride that this was on and he assured it was. I told Erin to hold on to the middle and DON'T let go!!! The bell rang the ride started and off she went.....at about 100 miles an hour! Oh dear lord it went 0-100 in about 2 secs the poor girl didn't know what to do the force made her want to hold onto the back of the ride but I could see she was thinking mum told me to hold on to the middle so in her panic she kept grabbing both while shouting 'mum I've had enough!!' (Mean mummy moment and grandma I should add) I stopped laughing and wiped my tears long enough to shout over to the guy to stop the ride, thank god she was the only one in it.
We quickly moved on and the crazy girl picked her next ride :) a nice tame train ride.
She followed with 5 slides on a inflatable slide, a craft stall, hook a duck, tombola and finally a quick mass gangnam style in the middle of the field.
Master calebs highlight was simple, just how much freedom he had, he ran everywhere! He loved it! Easily pleased.
We finished the visit by getting our faces painted well actually I had a tiny flower to show Erin it was ok and Erin had 3 either side, not bad for her first time.

Back to ours dad met us there, so I went to fetch KFC while mum, dad and mark mowed the lawn and weeded the garden (think I won there on things to do on a Saturday :)) we all sat and ate it in the garden with the sun still shining. A perfect day.
