8th… unexpected

We were just on our way to the farmers market at Ripley when I had a message from Sim to tell us Oscar had been in hospital overnight and was there a chance that we could have Hugo so he could go and relieve Nat.  We headed straight to theirs and discovered that Nat had taken him to the docs on Thursday and they suggested not to use calpol to see how he went and by Friday she took him back to the health centre who decided to call an ambulance as his oxygen levels were very low.  He has a chest infection and is on antibiotics.

I suggested Sim packs enough for an overnight bag for Hugo just in case.  Just as we were leaving Nat rang Sim to say she thinks they can come home.  However, they didn’t get home until later in the afternoon and asked if I’d be happy to have H overnight.  It was his first sleep at Nannas and I think we all survived :-)
