Anna and Luke's wedding day

Well, what an amazing, brilliant, emotional, happy, very hot, fantastic day!!!

Thoroughly loved every single second.

From getting ready in the morning, the journey there, arriving and 1 by 1 seeing family members, some I haven't seen in such a long time, to seeing where the ceremony was going to take place, a beautiful garden through a gorgeous courtyard with a red carpet leading up to a gorgeous little gazebo with the chairs and chair covers either side of the red carpet, it really did put a lump in my throat. The music that was playing was so lovely in the background, we all took our seats and first of all down the aisle came Leyla, Ella and Grace, 3 beautiful little flower girls,each holding a single red rose, followed by Anna looking stunningly beautiful, and Uncle Paul, and then the 4 bridesmaids, 2 of Anna's friends and Emily and Ellie.

The ceremony was just perfect, this was then followed by photos, Buck's Fizz on the terrace, a gorgeous 3 course meal, the speeches (I think we all had tears in our eyes at the speeches) and then the dancing started.

Eva was an absolute joy.
Everyone wanted a munch, so she was passed round so much, and it was such a boiling hot day, but she did not cry once. Everyone commented saying what a beautiful, happy baby she was, I was so proud I really could have burst. What an absolute pleasure she was.

She only really had a 40 minute sleep all day in her pushchair but she stayed in such good spirits despite this and the heat.

We left around 7 ish to get her home. I was worried that if she fell asleep in the car, she'd struggle to settle once home. I needn't have worried. I gave her a cool bath when we got in while Mike went to fetch Jake from his moms, and fed and put her to bed, she was fast asleep in her bed by 8 pm, she'd had a very action packed day.

Today has to be up there with one of my favourite days :-)
