You’ll need to bring an air bed mattress…..

Friday evening. Our younger son and partner came to stay after work. She wasn’t around when we flitted in, so hadn’t been to the house before. Some DIY and redecorating was planned for the evening and weekend, along with socialising; that involved an evening walk in St Andrews and ice cream from Janettas. And watching a bit of golf at the 18th green of the Old Course.

The bed was originally his, it recycled to our new family place. (The one in the other bedroom was a second one from our son and daughter-in-law’s home). Both are in great condition. A new mattress for this one is due to be delivered on 15 June. So, I said “you’ll need an air bed.” The one they brought was a grand piece of kit. I could hear them laughing as it was inflated, no wonder! It ended up alongside the existing - luckily it’s a big room. Imagine sleeping on it as set up, and rolling off during the night!
