Glory Group
Another Super Sunday in Sutton!
David drove off in the BK (our home!!!) to visit his friend's church (Wade St) in Lichfield because he was invited to a special Blues worship service that his friend was leading (see BGCoffee). That meant that I was temporarily homeless! Sam and Debbie, Zion and Allegra took good care of me.
Then I went to Sutton Baptist to be with Bryn and to hear Daveen preach on “Finding Your Purpose”
After church the family went to Pizza Express (which turned out to be far from ‘express’ - the service was very slow! Several of us were involved in various things in the afternoon - I wanted to go to ‘Glory Group’ with Bryn and Paul was speaking at the group. So we had to leave early!
This blip is of Bryn at his once per month ‘Glory Group’ - a special service for neurodiverse adults with various physical challenges, which never seemed to hamper their enthusiasm for life. What an inspiration!
David met us there, so he got to experience the group as they broke up into their craft activities and enjoyed their refreshments. The activity was to paint a plant pot and fill it with compost and some seeds. Bryn is a very good artist and took great care with his painting.
Afterwards we took Bryn home and I went to bed early. David wanted to hear Daveen speak as well, so he went to the evening service, which was a repeat of the morning one, with a different congregation.
A very full day!
