Flowers

A couple of beautiful lots of flowers were delivered yesterday. Many more and I will have to find some extra vases!

Started a little of what my friend referred to as sadmin, though progress is limited until we register the death and pick up the certificates. The medical certificate has now been signed (as the current system needs everything to be reviewed by a medical examiner first) and we have an appointment for the registrar tomorrow afternoon. John’s brother is coming with me. After that the funeral director will be able to book the cremation and we can finalise the funeral arrangements.

I’ve been having regular counselling sessions through an Age UK Salford project to support family caregivers of people living with dementia. My counsellor, A, came over for a brew and a chat today which was lovely. Particularly as we’d never met in person before (all the counselling is on zoom so there is no need for respite care).

Can’t believe how chilly it is for June, I’ve put the heating back on!
