Wall art

It was pretty chilly in Langres this morning and we decided  to get to Italy a bit sooner than planned, where it seems a bit warmer.
So we’re now in Chamonix Mont Blanc. 
Now we know Chamonix quite well as our daughter and her now husband lived here for some years working for a holiday company. ( British people could do that easily then, not now so much thanks to Brexit)
Never seen it so wet and miserable and I’ve always loved it in summer with the masses of flowers everywhere.
We’re staying at a site just a couple of kilometres out of the centre. There’s a really good train service locally and we went to the town centre to eat. We fancied Tartiflette and had an enormous portion each with salad ( and bread for me) and now I’m so full!
We might have a day here tomorrow before moving on. It’s chucking down with rain at the moment so it had better improve a bit by the morning.
