Seasalter beach

An impromptu trip to Whitstable walking along the prom from Seasalter to Tankerton and back.

Some mightily impressive shower clouds all about which we fortunately escaped and were able to admire their dark beauty.

On the return leg we called in at Whitstable Castle. We’ve passed by the entrance many, many times over the years and not stepped inside. It was splendid, plenty of beautiful roses which were at their best. We’ll not pass it by again!

Several cups of tea and a shared scone at the Continental Hotel was obligatory.
