34. Afternoon

Lazy afternoon kite flying on the beach. Well, that was the idea. I think that there is no such thing as laziness on the beach when two under fives are involved. Any romantic notions we had of a leisurely beach holiday -wiling away hours on the sunny shores, splashing carelessly in the waves- were smashed within 30 seconds of setting foot on the sand, with a cry of "Mummy I've got sand in my bum/eyes/nose" or some such, followed by much much more of the same. Lots of fun but also lots of tears. Don't think we managed more than 3 hours in one go.
