Setting the Scene

I was back at the theatre tonight, this time in Pitlochry to see Beautiful.  It tells the story of Carole King - both personal  and song-writing.

We'd been lucky enough to see a rehearsal a few weeks back and enjoyed seeing the final production. It was very well done and featured a good number of strong musical performances. Kirsty Findlay as Carole King was outstanding as was Lolo Aluko as Cynthia Weil, a fellow song writer. 

This is the second of five productions we booked (so far) to see this summer. So far, so very good.
