Through the fence

"Are you all right"
"Yes, do you want to see my pictures?"
"No, it's fine. I just thought if there was a problem I could help."
"No, I'm just a photographer."
"That's great. Just thought there might be a complaint I could sort out."

I had lunch today with C and M. I've known C since before we could talk and although we swap Christmas cards we haven't seen each other for years. Great to spend time with them and take inspiration from their garden.

And from my mum's. She's been on her hands and knees laying brick edging to her lawn which looks great. I brought home on the bus today the rosemary she's been nurturing for me for the last three years.
